Career Information: Grew up in drag racing with father. Crew chief for father for over five years. Started driving on 3/14/05 at Piedmont Dragway, NC for test and tune. Car owner, Mac McKinnie gave verbal instructions. First pass in 1/8th mile 120 mph, 5.941secs. Two rounds later 128 mph, 5.466 seconds. Practice time was over. Entered first race 3/25/05 1/8th mile at Fayetteville Dragstrip, NC. Lost out after fourth round. Top speed 129 mph, 5.346 seconds. Friday 5/13/05 license purchased for membership in IHRA. Saturday 5/14/05 winner of heads up Gambler's race in 5.70 Quick Rod class 1/8th mile with .003 reaction time. Joined points with Dunn-Benson Dragway and raced other local events with money rounds and snagging runner-up at Roxboro Dragway 9/10/05; 131 mph, 5.256 seconds. Won 5.70 class run and ranked #17 in points division at Dunn-Benson Dragway invited to IHRA Summitt Finals at Richmond Motorsports, VA sponsored by IHRA. Raced five rounds with final breakout loss; went more rounds than any other car representing Dunn-Benson Dragway. After 8 long months, season ended on 11/12/05 at Kinston Dragway, NC with 133 mph, 5.11 seconds; quickest time of the season. Winner at Roxboro Dragway Saturday 9/23/06. Runner-up at Dunn-Benson Dragway 05/08.
